5. Delegate Don't stress out doing everything yourselves, delegate things for your friends and family to do, make them feel part of your big day!
6. Venue Find one that you both like and that will be realistic for friends and family to get too.
7. Colours Decide on your colours and theme for the day, Get samples of colours you like from a haberdashery store, bridal shop, venue stylist.
8. Extras Be really strict with your family about add ons to numbers of guests for the sit down meal, it will escalate your budget!
9. Diet If you need to loose weight, do it together, help and support each other, walk, run, swim, dance, exercise at home with a Wii game or video, as much for free as possible, remember, you've got a wedding to pay for.
10. Review 6 months before the big day - Re-assess your budget, have a family meeting to go over whose doing what and re-plan if necessary.
