What Makes a perfect Host
You are the director and your guests are the actors. As the host, you should dress accordingly. Remember you are the Star of the Show, you can be as outrageous as you like.
Arrive early before your guests start arriving. (Arriving late may be fashionable but also impolite.)
Smile, Greet your guests with a warm and friendly smile and advise them where they can find the cloakroom, and point them to the drinks area. Leave more conversation for later as other guests will be arriving and will want your attention.
Speeches, Have a small opening/closing speech ready.
If you’re not up for it why not appoint your Party Essence Host to do it for you,.
Dance, like you have never danced before.
If they see you enjoying yourself then they will too.
Mingle, if you see people on their own, introduce them to someone else.
Drink, Pace yourself. It might be your bash but at least wait until all your guests have gone before you get drunk.
Thank you, always send out thank you notes to all your guests within a week after the party.
